Music Boosters Announcements

Music Booster Meeting 6:30pm., March 12

All are invited to attend! The Booster's meeting will be held in the Computer Lab at the high school. The location has been changed due to the Winter Sports Awards. Here are links to the February meeting minutes and to Wednesday night's agenda.

Congratulations to our Vocal and Wind Ensembles for garnering a #1 Superior rating for their performances this past weekend.

We now move forward to the IHS Drama Club production of "The Drowsy Chaperone" on March 21 and 22 at 7:00 pm in the IHS Auditorium.

Patron Messages for performers are $15.00 for 1/8 of a program page. Please contact Mrs. Schatt for additional pricing on larger ads.

Honors Band/Vocal – Scheduling

A 2-year project in the making. Students now have the opportunity in their senior year (if they meet general pre-requisites) to take band, vocal, or both as a 4.5 GPA course. Additional requirements are necessary to achieve the 4.5 level. Contact Mr. Schatt for more details.

Enrichment is part of the Music Booster's Mission

The ongoing mission of the music boosters is to foster and encourage student development in the musical arts. Throughout the year the music boosters raise money to provide funds used to purchase instruments, equipment and uniforms. Booster volunteers provide hospitality for both the IHS and visiting bands at football halftime, and also assist with set design/construction and costume design/creation for the madrigal and drama productions. The Music Boosters also offer a musical enrichment grant for eligible students.
